Cinnamon for November

Warm Taste of Cinnamon

With the cold weather here cinnamon is going to become a big part of our recipes. So I thought it would be great to share some nutritional information about cinnamon.

Cinnamon is a great alternative to give your food that extra quick for great flavor without adding the extra calories. Cinnamon is an anti-inflammatory which is found to reduce blood sugar, triglycerides,  and LDL (bad cholesterol and). It is also known to boost brain function and is a great source of calcium, manganese and fiber. And if you ever get a cold this winter try including more homemade recipes with cinnamon since it also helps fight cold & flu.

Herbalife offers a *Herbal Tea Concentrate flavored with cinnamon which is a great option for those cold days. This tea contains caffeine which jump-starts your metabolism and provides a boost to help you feel revitalized. It’s a  low-calorie tea that can be served either cold or hot. Hope you guys give it a try!

Keeping you healthy,
